God called your name so gently that only you could hear
We all could feel the presence of the angels gathering near
Quietly from the shadows there came a gentle call
You took your last breath and quietly left us all
It broke our hearts to lose you
You did not go alone
Because a part of us went with you
The day God called you home
You leave us so many beautiful memories
Of the time we spent with you
You will forever hold a place in our hearts
Reserved only for someone as special as you
Without your kind and gentle smile
And sweet beautiful face
A treasured life is missing
And the worlds a sadder place
The sun will still rise in the east in the morning
and darkness will still fall at night
But now nothing seems quite the same
Each day is not as bright
You lived your life so graciously
And always did your best
Now that your in heaven
It's time for you to rest
If our love for you could have saved you
You would surely still be here
But now that you are in heaven
Other lost loved ones are now holding you near
We can cry so many tears that you are gone
Or we can smile because you lived
We can remember that only you are gone
Or we can cherish your memory and let you still live
We will forever love & miss you
My very special friend
