Obituary for Lisa Louise Pietrzak (Wirt)

“My soul magnifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior”

Lisa Louise Pietrzak, 71, passed into the arms of the Lord on Friday, August 26, 2022, She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Laura (Pendland) Wirt; and her brother, Robert Wirt Jr. She leaves behind her husband of 40 years, Paul; and son Edward and Estela Pietrzak; grandchildren, Marqus VanderHart, Juan and Bailey Tejeda, Alycia Pietrzak, and Julian Pietrzak; her sister, Kristine and George DeCossio; and brother, Richard and Lee Wirt. She was a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Grandville Ladies Literary Club and was active in many ministries at her church, and St. Mary’s Hospital. She leaves behind many dear friends.

“Do not grieve for me, I am a daughter of God and know that his arms were open to welcome me. I am rejoined with my Mom and Dad and Bobby.”

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1200 Alpine Church Rd NW, Comstock Park, MI 49321. Fr. Chris Rouech will be presiding.

The family will greet relatives and friends one hour prior to mass from 10:00am - 11:00am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

A luncheon and time of fellowship will be held immediately following the funeral at church.

In lieu of flowers, donation in Lisa’s memory may be given to the Kate Duncan Smith DAR School via the Local DAR Chapter:
