Obituary for Mary Ann Gillstedt (Drolema)

GILLSTEDT – Mary Ann (Drolema) Gillstedt, age 92, of Grand Rapids, went peacefully into the arms of Jesus Christ on Tuesday, March 17, 2020. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 40 years Ted; siblings, Harry (Florence) Drolema, Rose (Jim) Janose, Dorothy (Ray) Quick and Robert Phelps. Mary Ann is survived by her sons, Gary Gillstedt, Kathy Gillstedt of Florida and Dave (Janice) Gillstedt of Grand Rapids; grandchildren, Heather (Sean) Wiggers, Christian (Kindal) Gillstedt, Geoffrey Gillstedt, Tiffany (Safraaz) Shadik, Tara (Nick) Young and Jonathan Gillstedt; great-grandchildren, Audrey, Max and Emma Young; Casen and Kalem Gillstedt; nieces and nephews. She enjoyed her many summers on Murray Lake and being at her home. Mary Ann has been a life long member of North Park Presbyterian Church. She was employed for many years at Eberhard Grocery Store and was a head cashier. A special thank you to Faith Hospice at Trillium Woods for the special care they gave to our beautiful Mary Ann. The family will greet family and friends on Monday, March 23, 2020 at North Park Presbyterian Church, 500 North Park Street, Grand Rapids, MI., 49525 prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The celebration of Mary Ann's life will follow at North Park Presbyterian Church at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, March 23, 2020 with Pastor Helen Havlik officiating.
