She was always there- at every birthday, art show or market, challenge and success, with a smile, some laughs, some gossip, a big hug, fresh veggies from her garden, and she had an open door policy every weekend... We cooked, we spent hours in the garden, we talked on the phone, went to Kohl's and Bath & Body Works and went out to eat a lot... I really could go on and on. She never stopped listening and she never stopped giving. She was my birthday twin, born on her 47th birthday in '92- her first grandkid. And we always had such a special bond because of that. She was like a second mother to me when I moved to Grand Rapids 10 years ago. My heart just aches. I miss her so incredibly much.
