Owen George Dykstra, age 18 months, of Cedar Springs, unexpectedly went to be with Jesus on Saturday, May 14, 2022. Born smiling, Owen was almost always happy. He enjoyed exploring, watching race cars, figuring how things work, playing and rough housing with his siblings lovingly, and playing with his pets. He will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Nicholas and Kelly Dykstra; brother, Elliot; sister, Amelia; grandparents: Albert and Lora Dykstra, Gordy and Laurie Pant; great grandmothers: Doris VerBeek, Kathy Faber, Ganelda Pant; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his great grandparents: Albert Sr. and Tina Dykstra, Ralph VerBeek, Gordy Faber, Gordon Pant. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday May 20, 2022 at Trinity Christian Reformed Church, 660 S. State St., Sparta, with Rev. Shaun Furniss and Rev. C.J. denDulk officiating. Burial will be held at Lisbon Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue NW, Comstock Park, and also at the church one hour prior to the service on Friday.
