BEUSCHEL – Teresa M. Beuschel, age 91, of Sparta, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, entered into eternal rest on December 20, 2019, the same date as her son, Greg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norm; sons, Greg and Paul, infant daughters, Ann and Debra; brothers, Gerard (Mary Lou) Ritzenhein, Eugene (Barb) Ritzenhein, Vincent Ritzenhein, Joe (Christine) Ritzenhein, William (Margo) Ritzenhein, Robert (Marilyn) Ritzenhein; sisters, Connie (Vince) Schweitzer, brother-in-law, Bernard Glowacki; and sister-in-law, Maxene (Orville) Schwartz. Teresa is survived by her children, Glenn Thomas (Gayle) Beuschel and Marie Zyskowski (significant other, Stan Szyslowski); grandchildren, Brent (Erin) Beuschel, Ryan (Betsy) Beuschel, Sam Engle, Shelby (Jake) Hiaeshutter, and Jack (Brii) Zyskowski; sister, Gabe Glowacki; great-grandchildren, Mariah, Ellie, Abel and Gemma Beuschel; and many nieces and nephews. Teresa was born on July 25, 1928 in Grand Rapids to William and Mary Elizabeth Ritzenhein. Teresa and Norm were married on September 17, 1949 and began their life together on the Ridge. They raised their family on the farm and Teresa quickly fell in love with farm life, including feeding the calves with not a hair of her bouffant out of place. She was an amazing cook who never let anyone leave the table hungry. Her heart and soul was her family and she treasured spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will be lovingly remembered for her love of dancing the jive and polka, Glen Miller Orchestra music and for her zest for life. Teresa was devoted to her daily Rosary and her Catholic faith. She blessed those who knew her with her prayers and friendship. The family will receive family and friends at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park on Friday, December 27, 2019 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:30 p.m. with Deacon Ed Harwood. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 2044 Gooding Road, Conklin on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at 12:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior with Rev. Fr.
