PITSCH - Agnes L. Pitsch, age 82, of Alpine Twp., passed away on Friday, March 27, 2015. Agnes was predeceased by beloved husband, Edward Pitsch Sr.; sisters, Marian Wohlfert, Dorothy Darling, Mildred Sweeney; brothers, Francis Jost and Bernard Jost; brothers in-law, William Darling, Raymond Saukas, Arthur Byrne, Gloria and James Schweitzer, John and Lela Dunneback. She is survived by her children, Edward Pitsch Jr., Julie Huffman, Carol Schoenborn, Jon (Lana Baker) Pitsch; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Saukas, Evelyn Byrne, Alice (Darrell) Ziegler, Ruth Ann (David) Kommer; sister-in-law Irene Jost, and brother-in-law Richard Sweeney, the Dunneback, Scheidel, and Schweitzer families, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Agnes was a loving mother, she loved and adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren, she was a friend to all. With her husband Edward Pitsch they owned and operated Cedar Creek Orchards and Edward Pitsch Produce for 45 years. Agnes loved her Wednesday lunches with her sisters, bus trips and the casinos. The family will receive family and friends at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park on Monday, March 30, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., with a Scripture Service at 7:30 p.m., with Deacon Jerry Roersma. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, March 31, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1200 Alpine Church Road, with Rev. Father Thomas G. Simons officiating. Interment will be immediately after the Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Trinity Cemetery. In memory of Agnes, please consider a donation of ones choice.
