VanOeffelen - Agnes VanOeffelen, age 94, of Comstock Park, Michigan passed away on Monday, January 9, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Joseph VanOeffelen; daughter Joanne Beak; grandsons Edwin Beak and Joseph VanOeffelen III; sisters Viola and Evelyn; and brother Robert. Agnes is survived by and will be deeply missed by her children Jean Skinner, Charles VanOeffelen, Joseph (MaryAnn) VanOeffelen Jr., John "Jack" (Jill) VanOeffelen, David (Jeanette) VanOeffelen, Kathy Gagnon, James (Kathy) VanOeffelen, and Mary Kay VanOeffelen; son-in-law Jerry Beak; 20 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Agnes was a lifetime member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church where she often attended daily Mass. She enjoyed ceramics, bowling, and playing cards and bingo. The family will receive family and friends at Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue NW, Comstock Park, on Thursday, January 12, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with the Rosary at 7:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will offered on Friday, January 13, 2017 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1200 Alpine Church Rd. NW, Comstock Park, at 11:00 a.m., with Fr. Thomas G. Simons, Celebrant, with visitation one hour prior to the Mass. Private interment will be at a later date.
