ALEXANDER - Allen Lee Alexander, age 64, of Grand Rapids, entered into eternal rest, on Friday, August 7, 2015. Allen was preceded in death by his parents, WT and Merna Alexander; sisters, Jackie and Jeanette Alexander. He is survived by the mother of his children and his life long friend, Patty Fowler; beloved children, Tonya Snowdin, Matthew (Rebecca Washington) Alexander and Jesse Alexander; precious grandchildren, Kyle Snowdin, Shane Snowdin, Casey Snowdin, Jalen Peterson, Kyla Alexander, Karissa Alexander, Dylan Smith, Hailey Alexander and J. J. Alexander; brothers, Stan (Johna) Alexander, Wally (Pat) Alexander and Howard (Liz) Alexander; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and was devoted to God. Allen served his country in the United States Army as an Airborne Para Trooper. In his free time he enjoyed creating music and fishing. Allen's family will receive family and friends at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park on Monday, August 10, 2015 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Services will be offered at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 with visitation a half hour prior to the service, at the Beuschel Funeral Home, with Pastor Rev. Mark Oswald officiating from Trinity Lutheran Church, and with under the Auspice Kent County Veterans Honor Guard.
