SELLA - Anthony "Tony" Sella, age 85, of Comstock Park, went home to his heavenly father on Monday, December 9, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Christopher and Mary Sella; his brother, Quentin Sella. Tony is survived by his wife of 44 years, Wanda; children, Ann (A.J.) Lange, Anthony (Christine) Sella, Mark Methner, Troy (Sarah) Methner, Christopher (Jenn) Sella, April (Mike) Simmons and Melissa (Jeremy) Grimaldi; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; siblings, Mary Gioia, Theresa Skrabis, Paul (Dale) Sella, John (Arlene) Sella, and Russell Sella; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws. He was a proud graduate of the South High School Class of 1952. Tony will be lovingly remembered as a family man of firm faith. His proudest accomplishments in life were serving at Mass as an altar boy at his childhood church for 9 years, including many weddings and funeral Masses; and working for 31 years for the same company. Tony loved his family dearly and cherished their Sunday family dinners. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, gardener and coin collector. Tony's family will receive friends and family at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park, on Thursday, December 12, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., with a time of sharing at 7:00 p.m. led by his son-in-law, Pastor Mike Simmons. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 425 South State Street, Sparta on Friday, December 13, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior with Rev. Msgr.
