LaBELLE-Arleen Ruth La Belle, age 86, of Comstock Park, went to eternal rest on Sunday, October 9, 2011. Arleen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gerald. She is survived by her loving children, Suzanne (Ronald) Alt and Rev. Richard (Linda) LaBelle; grandchildren, Scott (Dianna) Postal, Steven (Deanna) Postal, Nicole LaBelle and Jared LaBelle; great grandchildren; Megan, Justin, Abigail, Hannah and Tomas Postal. Also, a special friend of the family, Chi-Ying Leung. Arleen loved spending precious time with her family. Her involvement with her church was evident as she organized luncheons, delivered communion to the sick and home bound, lectured, and was an Eucharist Minister. You would occasionally see Arleen at auctions looking for antiques. Arleen was also a loyal and devoted Detroit Tigers fan. The family will receive visitors at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park on Tuesday, October 11 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7:30 p.m. by Tom Flickinge. The Mass of a Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior at Saint Mary's Catholic Church, Grand Rapids with Celebrant Rev.
