FLICK - Barbara Flick, age 70, of Comstock Park, entered into eternal rest with family at her side on Wednesday, July 15, 2020. Barb is preceded in death by her sons, Adam Flick and Michael J. Flick; husband, Michael Flick; parents, Peter Barense and Margaret (Barense) VanderArk; and step-father, Everett VanderArk. Barbara is survived by her brother and sisters, Shirley Beugelink, Patty (Dave) Shepard, and Jim (Barbara) Barense; grandchildren, Nathan and Jordyn Flick; and mother of her grandchildren, Jamie Flick. Barb founded a store in Florida and in Michigan for home furnishings. She was gifted artistically and will be remembered by her family and friends for her very loving heart. She cherished her friends, Chris and Nancy Nyenhuis, and all the times they enjoyed together. Barb enjoyed the fellowship of her friends of the Cursillo movement and was devoted to her Catholic faith. She found her joy in giving herself to others. A graveside service will take place at Pine Grove Cemetery with Rev. Fr. Thomas Simons of Holy Trinity Catholic Church officiating.
