Obituary

Beth Ann Sheldon-Suli, aged 51, a daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, wife, mother, and friend, left us peacefully while she slept on Tuesday, May 2, 2023. She will be deeply missed by her loving and devoted family. She leaves behind her husband of nearly 30 years, Sandor, their three children, Aiden, Madison, and Alexander, along with Alex's fiancée, Sarah, whom Beth loved and adored like one of her own. She is also survived by her mother and step-father, Yvonne and James Mitchell; her father Kent Sheldon; her in-laws, Aranka and Sandor Suli; younger sister Brooke Sheldon; step-sisters Julie (Chris) Crowder; Lisa Mitchell; nephews and nieces Devin, Cameron, Jonathan, Ava and countless other family members that loved and miss her. She is preceded in death by her grandparents Gladys and Fred Richardson, Louise and Russell Sheldon. And followed in death by her cousin Fred Bennett on May 4th. Beth lived a life filled with purpose and meaning, and would find the good in the worst of situations. She knew how to make people feel better, no matter the circumstances. Her positive energy radiated whenever she entered a room and strangers could be convinced they were life long friends after only a few moments of conversation with her. Her kindness was legendary. The love for her family and friends can not be overstated. If an opportunity to help someone presented itself, she would take it without thinking twice, even picking hitchhikers up in the middle of a stormy night. While most see a stranger to drive past, Beth would see a person walking wet, in the dark, and in need of a ride. This was the person everyone knew Beth to be, a kind, generous, selfless person. She loved her children more than anything in life, and she made sure that friends and strangers alike knew that they were her pride and joy. She was involved in every aspect of their lives. She went on every school trip with Alex, coached Madison's cheerleading throughout elementary and middle school, and volunteered as room mom for Aiden whenever she was able. Anything she could do for her kids, she did. Her love for them knew no bounds, and they always knew that they could count on her to be there for anything. Being a mom was what gave her life meaning, and it was a gift God blessed her with that she embraced the most. When her kid's had friends that needed help, guidance, or maternal advice, she would always jump on the opportunity to be their motherly figure. This characteristic is what earned her the monicker, "Momma Suli," which she wore with pride. In life, she loved flowers, sunny days, the beach and furry friends. Her legacy is the impact she has had on the lives of so many people during her short time on Earth. While she enjoys the beauty of the Kingdom of Heaven, she will be sorely missed by every single person that has ever met, cared for, and loved her. The family will be holding a Celebration of Life for Beth on Wednesday, May 10th, 2023.
