GODFREY - Betty Godfrey age 78, of Grand Rapids, Michigan went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 8. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Godfrey, her son Roger Godfrey. Betty is survived by her loving children, Cecil (Linda) Godfrey, of NC, Julia (William) Stewart, Ronnie (Bonnie) Godfrey, Deborah (Hubert) Johnson. She is also survived by her wonderful grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchild, also brothers, David and Tony, sisters, Joan and Pam. Betty enjoyed spending precious moments with her family. The family will greet relatives and friends on Monday, July 11, 2011 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park. A celebration of her life will follow at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Doug Compton officiating. A private burial will take place at Washington Memorial Park at a later date.
