HARMON - Betty Louise (Zahm) Harmon, age 73, of Sparta, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 15, 2017. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Bea Zahm; In-laws, Anthony and Elizabeth Harmon; brother-in-law, Tony "Roy" (Shirley) Harmon; and sister-in-law, Cecelia Hascher. She is survived by her loving husband, of 55 years, Jim Harmon; brothers and sisters, Ben Zahm, Lucille Norton, Tom (Diane) Zahm and Jean (Dave) Woycik; sister-in-law, Katherine (Keith) Kotowski; special God son, John Hascher; many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. She was a caregiver to the love of her life, husband Jim, and to all who knew her. Betty enjoyed cutting hair in Sparta for many, many years, and she always had coffee ready for everyone. She loved animals and watching the wild life outside her home. The family will receive family and friends at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M., with a Vigil Service at 7:00 P.M with Rev. Msgr. Terrence L. Stewart. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 11:00 A.M., with visitation one hour prior to the service at Holy Family Catholic Church, 425 South State Street, Sparta, with Rev.
