Bonita Louise Jobse, a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. The daughter of Charles and Helen Powell born on December 12, 1943, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Bonita lived a life full of love, kindness, and dedication to those she cherished most.

Bonita was a devoted homemaker whose unwavering commitment to her family defined her. She was a very sweet and loving mom who dedicated herself to creating a nurturing and joyful home.

Bonita was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas Jobse, and her daughter, Tracey Jobse. She is survived by her children, John Jobse; Kylie (Terry) Derusha; and Kelly Jobse; her dearly loved grandchildren, Sadie Derusha, Sophie Derusha, and Jocalyn Jobse; and her nieces, Lynn LaPonsie and Deb Ryman; and nephew, Steve Douse, will forever treasure the memories they shared with her.

In addition to her family, Bonita was a lifelong devoted fan of the Detroit Tigers. Her love for the team was well known, and her last words were aptly, "Go Riley!"
