Mrs. Bonnie Kay Langford, age 81, of Rockford, MI, passed away Friday, March 25, 2022. She was born in Grand Rapids, MI on January 11, 1941 to Larry and Evelyn Groendyke. Bonnie married Carl Langford in Grand Rapids, MI in 1961 and he preceded her in death in February of 2019. She had obtained her Ph.d in Psychology and had served on the Sparta Township Board. Bonnie also worked in the family business, Groendyke's Market in Sparta, MI. Bonnie was a classic car enthusiast, Ford Mustangs being her favorite. She had a passion for Lake Michigan at Montague, MI. Bonnie was passionate about shopping and always was dressed classy. She loved her white boxer dog, and had volunteered at the Kent County Humane Society and the American Red Cross. Another interest of Bonnie's was politics. She was very involved with the Republican Party. She had donated to the Gerald R. Ford Museum and to his election campaign. Bonnie appreciated fine dining at the Ruth Chris in Grand Rapids, MI. She will be always remembered as a loving Mother to her son, Scott Langford. She is also survived by Gidget Groendyke. The Funeral Service for Bonnie will be held Monday, March 28, 2022 at 1:00 pm from the Beuschel Funeral Home with Pastor C.J. Den Dulk officiating.
