Mrs. Bonnie Lee Parker, age 70, of Rockford, MI, passed away Friday, March 11, 2022. She was born in Grand Rapids on November 21, 1951 to George and Blanche (LaRose) Howard. Bonnie graduated from Grand Rapids Union High School in 1969. She married Ross A. Parker in Rockford, MI on October 4, 1986. Bonnie was employed by Meijer, Inc. for 47 years. She held many positions in Meijer. She was a cashier at the Alpine store for many years. Bonnie was working at the Meijer Corp. Offices at the time of her retirement. Bonnie enjoyed being a sports enthusiast, with MSU Spartans being one of her favorites. She was also known as the Aunt with the Candy Rings. Bonnie never turned down an opportunity to go shopping. She was a kind hearted person, always caring for others needs. Bonnie was very faithful and loved her Lord. She attended St. George Syrian Orthodox Church and more recently City Church in Rockford. Bonnie is survived by her husband of 35 years, Ross A. Parker; son, Cody Parker; sister, Karen Howard; sister-in-law, Patricia Howard; many nieces and nephews, including nephew Joshua LeBaron. She is also survived by her father-in-law, Russell Parker; sisters and brothers in law, Cheryl (Steven) Hews, Steve (Lois) Parker, Brenda Parker, Kevin (Anna) Parker. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael Hutting; brother, Michael Howard, brother-in-law, Kim Parker, mother-in-law, Carolyn Parker. The Memorial Service for Mrs. Parker will be held Friday, March 18, 2022 at 4:30 pm from the Beuschel Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Croft officiating. Visitation will be held from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Thursday, March 17, 2022 at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Ave., NW, Comstock Park, MI 49321.
