WILBUR - Brian Arthur Wilbur, age 56, of Grand Rapids, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, October 13, 2017. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Wilbur and brother, Arthur Wilbur Jr. Brian will be sadly missed by his wife of 31 years, Susan; his son, Brian Arthur Max (Holly) and daughter, Summer Estelle (Levi). He will also be dearly missed by his mother, Betty Barber; sisters, Kim Bowen and Mary (Russ) Oliver; many brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews. Brian was a journeyman ironworker for Local 340 and a boilermaker for Local 105. He was a master woodworker, fabricator and achieved a sensei and black belt in American bushido. Brian loved the outdoors, riding on his Harley Davidson, hunting, fishing, and living life to the fullest. He had a fierce love for his country and the American flag. Brian was a hard worker and loved his children "more than oxygen." According to Brian's wishes cremation has taken place, and the family will gather to honor him, with one last Harley Davidson ride, as a celebration of his life.
