COVEY - BRUCE W. COVEY age 87, of Comstock Park, entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 24. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Mary Covey; his parents, Walter and Grace Covey; and sisters, Connie Fraser and Sally Kaupa. Bruce is survived by his brother-in-law, Roger Kaupa; nieces and nephews, Rische Fraser, Heather Fraser, Don Kaupa, Kathy Prause, Diane Kramer, and Ted Kaupa; very dear friends and caregivers, Terry (Judy) Pahl and their children, Kristin (Nick) Donajkowski, John and Luke Pahl. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Bruce was employed with Roadway as a truck driver. He was also a member of the Teamsters Union with Roadway. Bruce was loved by many and had a tender heart. A special thank you for the compassion and care given at Vista Springs and Spectrum Hospice. Visitation with his family and friends will take place at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue N.W., Comstock Park, on Friday, January 31, 2020 from 12:00 to 1:00 P.M. The celebration of Bruce's life will follow at 1:00 P.M., at Beuschel Funeral Home with Rev. Father Thomas G. Simons as celebrant.
