KOZAL - Carol Jean Kozal, of Wyoming, age 76, passed away from lung cancer in the care of Hospice at Heather Hills on Monday, March 25, 2013. Surviving are her children, Terri (Dave) Arends of Cedar Springs, Ron (Cindi) Bylsma of Wyoming, Ken (Pam) Bylsma of Illinois, John (Jayne) Kozal of Sparta, and Julie Kozal (Vince) of Wyoming; grand children, Sara, Melissa, Lindsay, Paul, Michelle, Aryn, Colin, Makenzie, Curtis; four great grand children, brother, Tom (Pat) Grooters; niece, Traci, nephew, Tom and Emmie her cat. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene E. and Hilda M. Grooters and son; James Michael Kozal. She was a caring mother who was outgoing and enjoyed cooking, joking, entertaining and interior decorating. A special thank you to the staff at Hospice of Michigan and the Heather Hills Care Center for their care provided. The family will receive visitors at the Beuschel Funeral Home 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park on Thursday, March 28 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The celebration of Carol's life will be offered on Friday, March 29 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior at the Beuschel Funeral Home with Pastor Laurie Stagge officiating from Hospice of Michigan.
