MEYERS - Catherine Ann Meyers (Gimby), age 55, of Kent City, went to her Lord and Savior, after a long battle with cancer of 23 years, on Friday, July 24, 2015. Cathy was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Gimby. She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Dan Meyers; son, Ken Meyers; daughter, Karen (Brett) Billings; father, Phil Gimby; sister, Connie Gimby; many nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. Cathy graduated from Comstock Park High School class of 1977. Cathy was Dan's best friend. She was the family rock that would do anything for her children. Cathy will be remembered as a sweet person who developed many friendships and loved her church, Holy Family. She worked for Priority Health for 15 years. The family will greet family and friends at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park, on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., with the Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m., with Msgr. Terrence L. Stewart. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Holy Family Catholic Church, 425 South State Street, Sparta, with Msgr. Terrence L. Stewart officiating, on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior at the church. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, 4989 Polish Line Road, Cheboygan, Michigan.
