Chad R. Briggs, age 29, of Grand Rapids entered into eternal rest unexpectedly on Saturday, September 23, 2017. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Arthur "Ronny" and Eleanor Tonning. Chad is survived by his precious daughter, Nevaeh Briggs; mother, Toni Dielman, father, Robert (Kristie) Briggs; sister, Shannon (Mike) Bowen and brother, Cameron (Natasha) Briggs; grandparents, Jay and Melva Briggs; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Chad had a huge heart and enjoyed helping his beautiful daughter and anyone else who needed him. He enjoyed fishing, and had a passion for construction and home remodeling. Chad attended Cedar Springs High School. The family will receive family and friends at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park on Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 29, 2017 at 10:00 a.m., with Pastor Doug Compton from Alpine Baptist Church with visitation one hour prior, at the Beuschel Funeral Home.
