WATKINS - Charlene Ann (Denhof) Watkins, age 77, of Sparta, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 28, 2018. Charlene is survived by her children, Michael (Julie) Watkins and Stacey (Brad) Mullen; grandchildren, Nicholas Mullen, Kathryn Mullen, Jon Watkins and Matt Watkins; sister, Charlotte (Randy) Fisk; brother- in-laws and sister-in-laws, Norman (Mabel) Watkins, Sharon (Ron) Finley, Ralph (Debi) Watkins and Dale (Julie) Watkins; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Arnie; parents, Jake and Nellie (Parauka) Denhof. Charlene was employed with Sparta Area Schools and Bradford Insurance Centre. The family will receive visitors at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., with a Vigil Service at 7:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior at Holy Family Catholic Church, 425 South State Street, Sparta with Rev. Msgr. Terrence L. Stewart as celebrant. Inurnment will be held in St. Francis Xavior Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. In memory of Charlene, please consider memorial contributions to the Helen DeVos Children's Hospital and the Humane Society of West Michigan.
