COOPER - Charles "Chuck" J. Cooper, age 71, of Muskegon (formerly of Grand Rapids), unexpectedly passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, June and Chancey; former wife Pamela, life partner, Linda Martin; son, Charles Martin Cooper and brother, Richard Cooper. He is survived by daughters, Portia (Harry) North, Jamie (Thomas) Wheeler, Jamie and Teresa; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; siblings, Linda, Gloria, Portia, Susie and Pat; nieces, nephews and cousins. Chuck and Linda enjoyed shopping antique and yard sales together. He worked as a roofer throughout the Grand Rapids area nearly his entire life. The family will receive family and friends at Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park on Friday, July 19, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The celebration of Chuck's life will follow the visitation at the funeral home.
