Charles John Momber Jr., age 98, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 19, 2025. He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, June M. (Antor) Momber; daughter, Dianne Lynn; son, Charles U. Momber III; sons-in-law, David Overbeek Sr., Lloyd Pitsch, and Joseph Mejia. Charles is survived by his dear friend, Cathy Moore; his children, Denise Overbeek, Donald (Julie) Momber, Valerie Mejia, Jenice Momber, Joseph Momber, Jaculynn Pitsch, Gregory (Judi) Momber, Martin Momber, Angela (Todd) Drier; 20 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren with one on the way; brother-in-law, James Momber; sister-in-law, Charlene Alt; many nieces and nephews. Charles graduated from Catholic Central High School and went on to complete an Associate's Degree from Aquinas College. Charles served in the Navy. He worked on the family farm all his life, as well as a welder for American Seating. Mass of the Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 24, 11:00 am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1200 Alpine Church Rd NW, Comstock Park, MI with visitation one hour prior to mass. Friends and family may meet the family for a visitation on Sunday, March 23, at Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Ave NW Comstock Park, MI from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm with the Rosary being prayed at 7:30 pm.
