TWICHELL- Charles Albert Twichell, age 83, of Sparta, passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor Twichell (Klenk); and parents, Charles and Dorothy Twichell. Charles is survived by children, Dawn (Randy) Dunneback, Chris (Sharon) Twichell and Chuck Twichell; step-daughter, Doreen Krajewski; grandchildren, Joshua (Bethany) Gates, Dakota Dunneback, Chelsey (Adam) Kelly, Tayler Twichell, Chaz (fiancé Jaimie) Twichell and Christian Twichell; great-grandchildren, Reed Gates, Collin and Owen Kelly; brother, Dennis (Nina) Twichell; and niece, Nikki (Bob) Cook. Charles grew up at Camp Lake near Sparta and as a young man, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corp Reserves. Charles worked as the Superintendent for the Kent County Road Commission North Complex for 44 years. He also enjoyed spending his time with the Sparta Rod and Gun Club. The family will receive family and friends at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park, on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m., and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at the Beuschel Funeral Home, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior, with Pastor Dale Kleinheksel officiating.
