SWIFT - Charles (Chick) W. Swift, age 70, of Cedar Springs (formerly of MN.), passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 and is now soaring with the eagles. Chick is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Patricia, beloved children, Shane (Karen) Swift, Shawn (Denise) Swift and Shannon (Wayne) Swift; seven precious grand children; three sweet great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Marliss (Jack) Sorlien, Delbert (Rita) Swift, Marvin (Sue) Swift, Dale (Jan) Swift, Richard Swift, Mavis Swift, Pam (Wally) Schiele, Darrell (LuAnn) Swift; nieces, nephews and friends. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Chick lived life to the fullest, very committed to his family. He was employed with American National Insurance Co., as a district manager for life insurance. The family will receive visitors at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 from noon to 3:00 p.m. The Memorial Service will follow, with a time of remembrance of Chick's life at 3:00 p.m., under the auspice of Kent County Veterans Honor Guard at the Beuschel Funeral Home.
