Christopher James Hodyna, age 65, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Catherine Hodyna. Chris will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 42 years, Gail; his children: Zachary and wife Eimy Hodyna, Elyse and husband Justin Wagenschutz, Emily and husband Tyler Craig; his grandsons: Joshua and Barrett; a grandbaby girl on the way; his sisters: Jan, Sue, Cheryl, Mary Beth and husband Jeff; along with many nieces and nephews. Chris was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was a Boone and Crockett record holder. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and watching them play sports. Chris was the Maintenance Manager for Holy Trinity Church and School for 28 years and was known for his attention to detail and the ability to build and fix anything. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 30, 11:00 am at Holy Trinity Church, 1200 Alpine Church Rd NW, Comstock Park, Ml. Friends and relatives may meet the family on Monday, April 29 for a visitation from 2:00- 4:00 and 6:00-8:00 pm at Holy Trinity Church, where a Rosary will be prayed starting at 8:00 pm. Chris will also lie in state at church one hour prior to mass starting at 10:00 am. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.
