Obituary

ROZEMA - Dale Rozema, age 86, of Comstock Park, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 25, 2012. Dale was preceded in death by his wife, Helen of 50 years, and brother, Jack Rozema. He is survived by his children, Doug (Chris) Rozema, Daniel (Janet) Rozema, Rick (Pam) Rozema; grandchildren, Krystal, Kyle, Stephanie, Courtney, Kirk, Drew, John, Emily, and Jeremiah; great grandchild, Carson; sisters, Pauline Poelman and Mary Wager; sister in-law, Mildred Rozema. Dale was a man that accomplished a great amount of important achievements in his life time, at a young age he joined the Army during WWII as a tank driver. When the war was over he joined the Air force Reserve, for more than thirty years during this time he became a pilot. He was an active member of the American Legion Post #47. Dale retired from General Motors Automotive on 36th street, as a die welder. He always worked out of his garage welding, working on his family's property by Mill Creek and enjoyed traveling with his wife Helen. His family will receive relatives and friends at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park from 2 to 4 p.m., and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday. Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2012 at the Beuschel Funeral Home, with visitation prior at 10:00 a.m. to noon, with Pastor Thurman Rynbrandt of Orchard Hill Church officiating, and under auspices of the Kent County Veterans Honor Guard.
