OVERBEEK- David A. Overbeek, Sr., age 73, of Grand Rapids, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, September 10, 2019. He is preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Anne Overbeek; and mother-in-law, June Momber. David is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Denise Overbeek; three children with grandchildren, David (Jo) Overbeek and Elizabeth, Katherine, Anna and Jake, Christopher (Jodi) Overbeek and Josh, Caleb, and Emma, Michelle (John) Bunton and Noah, Eli, Charlotte and Zeke; father-in-law, Charles Momber; brother, Dale (Kathy) Overbeek; sisters, Diane Breeman and Sharon (Greg) Oatley; brothers and sisters-in-law; Don (Julie) Momber, Valerie (Joe) Mejia, Charles (Jenice) Momber, Joseph Momber, Jaci (Lloyd) Pitsch, Gregory (Judy) Momber, Martin Momber, Angela (Todd) Drier; and many nieces and nephews. David worked for General Motors for many years and retired from the Delphi Burlingame plant. Visitation will be held with the family on Friday, September 13, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue NW, Comstock Park with a Rosary at 8:30 PM with Deacon Jerry Roersma. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 11:00 AM, with visitation one hour prior, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 2230 Lake Michigan Dr. NW, Grand Rapids with Fr.
