TRAMPER - Debra "Debby" S. Tramper, age 65, of Sparta, went to be with her Lord and Savior with family at her side on Friday, September 17, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dick and Sandy Vykopal; sister, Dawn. Debby is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Richard "Alan" Tramper; son, Andrew "Andy" (Alice) Tramper; granddaughters, Reese and Ellie; and brother, Jeff (Ruthie) Vykopal; brothers-in-law, Greg Tramper, Tom Tramper and sister-in-law, Norma Torres; niece, Melanie Tramper and nephew, Greg Tramper. Debby was employed and retired with Sparta School system for 30 plus years. She was a mentor to many of the staff and students offering support, care and love every day. The special moments in her career was when Debby was honored with the Pillar Award, KISD Award and recently when the staff surprised her with a plaque outside the school office. Even after her retirement (due to her health) Debby remained close with the staff present and past. She was very instrumental in planning the Sparta Class of 1974 reunions. Debby remained a close friend to many of her classmates, always looking forward to the next time they would meet for coffee or just a conversation to catch up on everyone. She promoted the Sparta Relay for Life for many years and she fought cancer for over 32 years. Always remaining positive, and it wasn't going to beat her even when they told her she had days or months, she told everyone it will be months! Debby was a very loyal and generous friend to many. She and Alan finally built their dream home in 2017 she was always saying they should have done it years ago. One of Debby's favorite things was to mow their beautiful yard with her prize "John Deere" so proud! The family will receive family and friends at Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park, on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Debby's Life at 7:00 p.m. Private interment will be held in Greenwood Cemetery.
