LAFONTSEE - Dennis Julian LaFontsee, age 69, of Wyoming, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones, on Friday, November 27, 2015. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Julian and Ethyl LaFontsee; brothers, Don, Richard and Dean LaFontsee; sisters, Nanette (Pat) Dusendang and Rainell Andreinga; father-in-law, Woodrow "Woody" Kopp, brother-in-laws, Jack Riva and Bernie Pols; sister-in-laws, Sandra LaFontsee and Claire's LaFontsee. He is survived by his loving wife, of 52 years Sandra "Sandy" LaFontsee; children, Steve (Michele) LaFontsee, Jeff LaFontsee and David (LuAnn) LaFontsee; grandchildren, Annette, Ariele, Denina, Tyler, Dylan and Jenna; great grandchildren, Nathan, Aryonna, Jordan, Aubrey and Jaydan; siblings, Charlene (Bill) Lutz, Jean Pols, Nancy (Darrell) Buekema, Dan LaFontsee, Delbert LaFontsee, Lil Riva, Mike (Dort) LaFontsee and Doug LaFontsee; mother-in-law, Margret "Peggy" Kopp; sister-in-law, Gerri LaFontsee; special friend of 60 years plus, Roger (Darleen) Fox, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Dennis was a lifelong mechanic. He liked to go on trips and spend time with his family. Dennis really enjoyed spoiling and teasing his grandchildren. The family will receive family and friends for a celebration of Dennis's life gathering at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park on Saturday, December 5, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. In memory of Dennis, please consider contributions to St. Judes Children's Hospital or Helen DeVos Children's Hospital.
