CLAIR - Diane Joy Clair, age 79, of Grand Rapids, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 17, 2018. Diane was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Frederick Clair; brother, Bill and sister, Gloria. She is survived by her daughters, Julia Moody, Roseann (Brian) Lamore, Carol (Larry) Amidon; son, John Frederick Clair. Diane loved spending time with her eleven grandchildren, Jessica, Stacy and Joshua Moody, Brandon (Autumn) and Brianna LaMore, Sara (Ryan) Amidon Ostrander, Kevin Amidon, Amber, Erick, Cody and Lindsey Clair. She has seven great-grandchildren and one on the way; sister, Donna; brother, Mike (Sue) many nieces and nephews. Diane was the first chair Tromphone in the Hastings High School Band. She was employed at the Friend of the Court in Grand Rapids for several years. Diane also sang in the church choir, and preformed in the Singing Christmas Tree at the First Assembly of God Church; where she was a member for over 40 years of her life. She spent many years teaching Sunday school and assisting with the youth. Diane enjoyed her children, grandchildren, music, birds, Winnie the Pooh, camels, flamingo's and collecting fancy boxes. Her dream trip would have been to the Swiss Alps. Diane loved making memories. The family will receive family and friends at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park on Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 3:00 - 4:00 P.M., with the Celebration of Life for Diane following at 4:00 P.M., with Pastor Howard Collver as celebrant. Interment will be in Fairplains Cemetery at 10:00 A.M., on Monday, January 22, 2018. In memory of Diane, please consider contributions to the Heartland Nursing Home. Visitation
