HOST - Donald "Don" B. Host, age 63, of Marne, entered into eternal rest unexpectedly on Saturday, March 13, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sonny and Barb Host; sister, Mary; and in-laws, Richard Vereecken and Donna DeRosha. Don is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Kimberly Host; daughters, Jenny (Mike) Parker, Tricia (Dennis) Jessee; grandchildren, Lauren, Alaina, Chase; siblings, David (Mindy) Host, Charlie (Karen) Host, Fred (Dawn) Host, Joe Host, Margaret (Ken) Scheidel; in-laws, Dick (Lori) Vereecken, Ralph (Lynn) Derosha, Diane Smith, Rose (Al) Pascal, Sandy Vereecken, Joyce (Bob) Mcdonald, Debbie Nadolski; nieces, nephews, and many close friends. Don and Kim were high school sweethearts who began dating in 1975; they were life-long soul mates. Family was very important to Don who especially loved spending time with his grandkids. He also loved spending time in the barn surrounded by his friends, brothers, and family. Don worked for Roth trucking since 1978 and for Brouwer Tree Service his entire life. In his spare time, he loved to hunt and fish. The family will receive family and friends at Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park, on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, March 17, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a celebration of Donald's life at Beuschel Funeral Home officiating Pastor Mark VanderMeer of New Community Church.
