COURTADE - Doris M. (Homrich) Courtade, age 73, of Conklin, entered into eternal rest to be with her Lord and Savior, surrounded by her loving family on Friday, August 28, 2015. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Katherine Homrich and sister, Maryanne Miller. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Floyd Courtade; children, Keith Courtade, Ann (Jon) Zandstra, Ken Courtade (Matt Norris), Angela (John) Poffinbarger and Dennis (Melissa) Courtade; grandchildren, Brian Courtade, Ashley (Rick) Mitchell, Jamie Zandstra, Thomas Zandstra, Craig (Hillarey) Poffinbarger, Jessica (Josh) Molyneux, Ariel Poffinbarger, Emily Courtade and Brayden Courtade; seven great grandchildren; sisters, Irene (Art) Maycroft and Marilyn (Alex) Arends; numerous in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews. Doris fought a courageous battle with tremendous grace and strength against COPD, for the last two years. She was a dear wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Doris was so gracious and caring, always praying for her family. Her faith in God was very strong, and she enjoyed singing in St. Joseph's choir. The family will receive family and friends for visitation at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue from 2 to 4 p.m., and 6 to 8 p.m., with the Rosary at 7:00 p.m, on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 with Rev. Father Douglas Braun. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at 10:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior, at St Joseph's Catholic Church, with Rev. Father Douglas Braun as celebrant. Interment will be held in St Joseph's Cemetery. In memory of Doris, please consider contributions to St. Joseph's Church.
