Doris Ellen (Corner) Warren (Schumaker), age 92, of Comstock Park, MI went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 21, 2024. She was born May 4, 1931 in Grand Rapids Township to Charles J. and Carmelita J. (Scheidel) Corner. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Alfred, Thaddeus (Ted), James (Jim), Marvin, Florence, Shirley, Beatrice (Bea), Virginia, Elizabeth (Liz); husbands, Donald Warren and Raymond Schumaker; and her children Jeffrey Warren and Anita Warren; and several grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Rose (Richard) Dehn, James (Karee) Warren, Steven Warren, June (Neal) Stevenson, Doug (Debi) Warren, Harvey Warren, Joe Warren, and Randy Warren; many grand, great grand and great great grandchildren; and siblings, Patricia Foster, Ora (Joe) Wright, Alice (Jerry) Kahmann, and Lewis (Roberta) Corner. She was blessed to live a faith filled and productive life. She loved to dance. She was a member of Holy Trinity Church, Rockford Sportsman Club, and the Eagles Club. She retired from the Meijer Alpine store, with over 20 years of service, in 1996. Doris survived a brain aneurysm in 2010 which brought about the onset of dementia, which she endured for many years. Visitation with the family will take place at the Beuschel Funeral Home located at 5018 Alpine Ave., Comstock Park on Monday, March 25 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 pm, where a rosary will be prayed at 7:30 pm. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday, March 26 11:00 am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1200 Alpine Church Rd. with Rev. Chris Rouech as celebrant. Doris will lie in state one hour prior to mass starting at 10:00 am at the church. Interment at Chapel Hill Cemetery.
