HATTON - Dorothy Selina (Lawrence) Hatton, of Walker, age 88, went to her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 24, 2017. Dorothy was preceded in death by her siblings, Ruth Lawrence, Billy Lawrence, Harry Lawrence, David Lawrence, Eleanor Nicholson, Barbara Konyndyk and Jim Lawrence. She is survived by her children, Carol (John) Herdegen and Richard (JoAnne) Hatton; grandchildren, John Jr. (Marilyn) Herdegen- great granddaughter Victoria and Charles (Jennifer) Herdegen and Melanie Hatton; siblings, Fred (June Companion) Lawrence Mary L. Feeback and Myra Rettler. She was a very loving mother and a wonderful grandmother. Dorothy loved her brothers and sisters deeply. The family will receive family and friends at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park on Thursday, January 26, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The celebration of Dorothy's life will be offered on Friday, January 27, 2017 at 12:00 p.m., with Pastor Tom Bradley officiating, from Westwood Community Church, with visitation one hour prior to the service at the Beuschel Funeral Home. Interment will be held in Chapel Hill Memorial Cemetery, 2894 Patterson Avenue S.E., Grand Rapids, MI., at 2:30 p.m.
