CLARK - Elaine P. Clark of Sparta, MI, passed away at the age of 94 on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She rests now in the arms of her Lord and Savior. Elaine was born to Henry and Minnie (Denhof) VanDyke on June 13, 1923 in Conklin, MI where she grew up. She was a devoted wife, wonderful mother, dear sister and aunt, proud grandmother, great grandmother, friend, and faithful servant to her Lord. Throughout her life, there were two very important things to Elaine; her faith and her family. Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John William; son, Mark Clark; daughter, Amy; son-in-law, Don Morgan; daughter-in-law, Louise Clark; great granddaughter, Grace Clark; brothers and sisters, Gerald and Leonard VanDyke, Marie Brown Arends, and Edith Klein. She is survived by her daughter Colleen Matzen, son Leonard, daughter-in-law Shirley Clark, and daughter Christine Morgan. Elaine was a grandmother to eight, great grandmother of 15 and many nieces and nephews. Her family wishes to thank Stonebridge Manor for the beautiful care of their mother over the years. Visitation with the family will take place at Beuschel Funeral Home located at 5018 Alpine Ave, Comstock Park on Thursday from 2 - 4 and 5 - 8 pm with a vigil service offered at 7 pm with Rev. Msgr. Terrence L. Stewart as celebrant. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, June 1, 2018 at Holy Family Church of Sparta at 11 am with a viewing prior at 10 am.
