Elise Janette Graveline Hilton made her Irish goodbye on Monday, October 9, 2023. She lived, she loved, she laughed… and then she left. Elise will be remembered by her always dry and often inappropriate sarcasm. Some will forever fear her black-belted ability to take down grown men with only her thumb. Chatty ex-students may still have nightmares about the flying expo markers in her classroom. Others will remember Elise by her iconic red hair and glamorous shoes. We are brought peace knowing she is at home with her Lord, Jesus Christ, as well as her parents, John and Elizabeth Graveline; and sister-in-law, Regina Graveline, whom she missed everyday. Her children: Justin, Joshua, Caitlin (Clayton) Hodge, Erin, and Steven will now miss her the same. Elise is also survived by her fierce-loving husband and best friend, Edward Hilton, as well as siblings, Paul (Catheryn) Graveline, Michele Graveline (Gary Miller), and Martha Winchell. We also must not forget her faithful furry companion, the corgi, Lilibet Fluff-Bottom. Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Visitation with the family will take place at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park, MI on Wednesday, October 18 from 5-8 pm. An additional visitation will be hosted at St. John Paul II Catholic Parish, 3110 17 Mile Road NE, Cedar Springs, MI on Thursday, October 19 from 9-11 am, where Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with a luncheon to follow.
