SPETOSKEY - Ethel M. Spetoskey, age 74, of Sparta, went peacefully to her Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 29, 2013. Ethel is survived by beloved husband of 49 years, Paul D. Spetoskey; sons, Paul L. (Roxanne) Spetoskey, Phillip J. (fiancee, Tammie Coalter) Spetoskey; daughter, Chris A. (Joe) Spetoskey-Yancharas. Grandma to Marisa Spetoskey and Samantha Yancharas; sister to, Jean Livingston and Molly Leary; also an aunt to many nieces and nephews. Ethel loved going to her granddaughter's sporting events, spending time with her family and friends. She was a life long devoted member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Sparta. Ethel loved her collection of angels, playing the piano, shopping and traveling. She was also a member of the Sparta Moose Lodge #50, Paradise Motor Cycle Club and of the Red Hats. The family will receive family and friends at Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., with the Vigil Service at 8:30 p.m., with Rev. Deacon Larry Hoogeboom. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church in Sparta at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 with Rev. Msgr. Terrence L. Stewart officiating, with visitation one hour prior at the church. A private interment will be held at the Greenwood Cemetery.
