LAMBSON - Eugene "Gene" C. Lambson, age 77, of Sparta, unexpectedly passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, September 26, 2019. He is preceded in death by his parents, Asle Lambson and Helen (Charles) Winn; sisters-in-law, Betty (Gene) LaCroix and Arlene Welling. Gene is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Sharon; beloved children, Terry (Anne) Lambson and Lisa (Roger) Hackney; precious grandchildren, Taylor, Connor, Evan Lambson, Ben (Erika) Hackney and Brian Hackney; great-grandchildren, Ethan, William and Juliette; brother-in-law, Earl Welling; step mother, Marilyn Lambson; many cousins, nieces and nephews. He retired from his career as a millwright. Gene enjoyed spending time with his loving family, along with golfing, bowling and hunting. The family will receive family and friends at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue N.W., Comstock Park, on Sunday, September 29, 2019 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., with the funeral service following at 5:00 p.m., with Pastor Karen Stokes as celebrant from Comstock Park Congregational Church.
