MAY - Evelyn "Evie" M. May, age 93, of Conklin, entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 19, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin; son-in-law, Greg Beuschel; grandson, Brent Beuschel; brother, Raymond "Bub" Lonnee; brothers-in-law, Chuck Courtade and Virgil Christiansen. Evelyn is survived by her children, Dan May, Denise (Ken) Visger, Janice Beuschel and Joe May; her grandchildren, Kenn Visger, Jr., Tammy (Nate) Heaven, Ryan (Betsy) Beuschel, and Erin Beuschel; great-grandchildren, Makenzie and Ethan Heaven, Mariah, Ellie, Abel, Gemma, and Jacquelyn Beuschel; her sisters, Lanora Christiansen and Betty Courtade; many loved nieces and nephews. She was a proud mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, a three-time breast cancer survivor, life-long resident of Alpine Township and member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Wright. Evelyn remained active up until her death enjoying baking, canning fruits and vegetables, nurturing her seasonal flowers, visiting daily with her two sisters, and reaching out to family and friends with greeting cards and baked goods. Visitation for Evelyn will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Beuschel Funeral Home with Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Father Andrew Ayers as celebrant, visitation one hour prior at the church; interment in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery. In memory of Evelyn, please consider Lemmen-Holton Cancer Center for donations.
