BEUSCHEL - Florence Beuschel, age 95, of Sparta, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 15, 2014. Florence was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, Edward; grandson, Kurt O'Brien; brothers, Raymond Wagner, Robert Diendorf; sisters, Ruth Burns, Mary Jane Diendorf; nephew, Rudy Wagner. She is survived by beloved children, Dennis (Mary Jane) Beuschel, Virginia (Dick) Meyers, Carol Ann (Rich) Poffinbarger, Arlene (Les) Thayer, Brenda Spangenberg, Mary Jo (Roger) DeMeester; sister, Helen Bragdon; brother, John Diendorf; many precious grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Florence was employed by Sparta Foundry cafeteria and Meijer, all the while helping with the family fruit and dairy farm, and fruit market. In later years, Florence shared residence with and special care from daughter, Mary Jo, and children Kelli and Kurt. Family will receive family and friends at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park on Wednesday, June 18, 2014, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary offered at 7:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, June 19, 2014, at St. Francis Xavier Church with Rev. Fr. G. Fredrick Brucker officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior at the church. Interment will be at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
