DEBREE - Gwen (Glowacki) DeBree, age 59, of Rockford, entered into eternal rest unexpectedly on Thursday, October 13, 2016. She is preceded in death by her father, Bernard Glowacki; father-in-law, Russell James DeBree, Sr.; brother-in-law, Marty Meyers; good friend, Dorothy Rivera and one 'angel' grandchild. Gwen is survived by her beloved husband of 35 years, Russell; beloved children, Tina (Rob) McCall, Laura (Rebecca) Eastway, Lisa (Scott) Tuinstra, Gary (Jennifer) Foskett, Jason (Stacy) Ogg, Russell (Melissa) DeBree, Jacob (Nicole) DeBree, Julonda (Richard) Carawan and Misty (Erik) Graham; mother, Gabriel Glowacki; mother-in-law, Marilyn Schaffer; father-in-law, Harold Schaffer; sisters, Jean (Gary) Miller and Deb Meyers; brothers, Bernie Glowacki and Bob (Denise) Glowacki; her two 'special' sisters, Sandy DeBree and Linda (DeBree) Ash; twenty-six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and many, many loving friends. Gwen will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor and compassionate heart. She was an accomplished homemaker, taking pride especially in keeping a clean house and quilting. She greatly enjoyed time spent with her husband, especially riding bike together and with 'The Road Weasels.' Among her favorite pastimes were going to auctions and time spent with her dearest family. The family will receive family and friends at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park on Monday, October 17, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Memorial Service will follow at 4:00 p.m., at Beuschel Funeral Home with Rev.
