RAWSON, Harley G Rawson, age 96, of Comstock Park, went peacefully into the arms of Jesus Christ on Monday, April 29, 2024.  Harley was preceded in death by his wonderful wife, Anita; granddaughter, Martha Rawson; daughter-in-law, Colleen Rawson; his brothers and sisters.  He is survived by his beloved children, Brian Rawson and Janet (Dan) Rozema; grandchildren, Jonathan Rawson, Allison (David) Danner, Kirk Rozema, Drew Rozema, Bobbi (Ryan) Steward, Jessica (Ryan) Helski; and many great grandchildren.

Harley was a proud Creston High School graduate.  He also served in the Army during the Korean War.  Harley loved traveling with his wife, Anita, the love of his life. He was a lifetime member of Second Congregational Church of Grand Rapids.  Harley was an employee of Old Kent Bank for 40 years.  He started at the circle bank on Plainfield and retired from the Data Center.  A special "Thank You" to all the caregivers at Vista Springs Riverside.

The family will meet relatives and friends at Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park, MI on Wednesday, May 8, from 5:00-7:00 pm.  The Celebration of Harley's life will be at Beuschel Funeral Home on Thursday, May 9, starting at 12:00 noon.  Friends and relatives are invited to meet with the family prior to the service from 11:00–12:00 noon.  Interment will be at Fairplains Cemetery in Grand Rapids. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial donations in Harley's name to Corewell Health Hospice.
