Harriet "Beth" (Remington) Vogel, age 94 of Comstock Park, Michigan, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, December 31st, 2022 at Meadowlark Assisted Living in Sparta. Beth was born on February 19, 1928 in Cedar Springs, Michigan, the daughter of Cyril and Lovisa (Spaulding) Remington. She graduated from Union High School in 1946. Beth retired from Michigan Bell Telephone after 33 years of dedicated service. She was a longtime member of Peace Lutheran Church in Sparta where she sang in the choir. Beth loved to sew, crochet, and bake and was active in her community. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Carl Vogel; her son Ronald Vogel; and her infant son. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Mildred, Annabelle, Russell, Opal, June, and Jim. Beth is survived by her children, Phillip and Nancy Vogel, Vicky and Tom Peterson, Chuck and Barb Vogel, Tom and Nancy Vogel, Tim and Beth Vogel, and Kevin Vogel; her daughter-in-law, Cathy and Bob Bromley; her 17 grandchildren; her 13 great grandchildren; her sister, Virginia Staal; and several nieces and nephews. There will be a time of visitation on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Ave NW, Comstock Park, MI 49321. A funeral service will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at Peace Lutheran Church, 1225 12 Mile Rd, Sparta, MI 49345. The family will also greet relatives and friends one hour prior to the service at church. Beth's family would like to thank the staff of Meadowlark Assisted Living and Emmanuel Hospice for their many years of loving care.
