GILDE - Hazel B. "Stormy" Gilde, of Marne, age 95, went into the arms of Jesus Christ with her family at her side on Friday, December 2, 2016. Hazel is survived by her daughters, Carolellen "Carie" Hills and Marjorie C. "Midge" Gilde; grandchildren, Tamidawn Carney, Michael (Lan) Hills, Shawn (Carla) Hills, Jolie (Jeff) Dilling, Yvonne, Gail, Larry and David Gilde; great-granddaughter, Leia Dilling; brother, William TenBrink; and many dear relatives and friends. Hazel is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Leonard William Gilde; son, James Gilde; brothers, Gerald TenBrink and Edward TenBrink; sister, Elizabeth J. Miller; and sister-in-law, Marjorie TenBrink. Hazel was employed many years in the furniture industry for Stow Davis. She was a survivor known for her quick wit and spunky attitude, also known as "Stormy the Redhead." Hazel was a devoted mother who loved her family dearly. She enjoyed the farm atmostphere and had a love for pets. The family will receive family and friends at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park on Monday, December 5, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The celebration of Hazel's life will be offered on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at 12:00 p.m., with Pastor Barbara Schultze from Grace Hospice officiating, with visitation one hour prior to the service at the Beuschel Funeral Home.
