Hedzer DeJong, age 90 (09/03/1929-09/07-2019) Son of Dirk and Anna DeJong. He enjoyed home remodeling, travel, his work in Zambia, Africa and spreading the word of salvation. He leaves behind his faithful wife and work partner of almost 67 years, Viola (Boone), children Barbara (Bernard) Huitema, Thomas (Sue) DeJong, James DeJong, Robert (Marilyn) DeJong, Janice VanderWal, Valerie (Jeff) Bosch, and Mary (Sander) Niemeyer, 33 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren, 2 sisters in law, and a brother in law as well as many special friends. Memorial service will be held Saturday, 09/21/2019. Visitation with family between 10 and 11 am immediately followed by the service and luncheon at Alpine Baptist Church 792 Seven Mile Road NW Comstock Park, 49321.
