LANG - Helen A. Lang (Clark), age 88, of Kent City, passed away on Monday, May 17, 2021 with family by her side. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, LaVern Lang; infant granddaughter, Julie Marie Lang; brothers, Lyman Clark, Randall Clark, and Robert Clark. Helen is survived by her children, Dennis (Diann) Lang, Mary Jo (Lawrence) Ott, Kathryn (Michael) Bannink; grandchildren, Nathan (Tiffany) Lang, Janice (Brian) Sharp, Monica (Michael) Bates, Amanda (Chad) Bridle, Jill (Michael) Bannink-Albrecht, Rebecca (Christopher) Bannink-Felice; great-grandchildren, Nathan T. Lang, Braxton Sharp, Brianna Sharp, Emersyn Bates, Julia Bridle, Natalie Bridle, William Bridle, Dempsey Felice, John Patrick Felice; brother-in-law, David (Carole) Lang; sisters-in-law, Marilyn Clark and Lois Clark; many nieces and nephews. Helen was a registered nurse at Butterworth (Spectrum) Hospital for over 30 years but was our family nurse 24/7. Through her example we learned caring and empathy as well as the value of a well-made bed, cleaning, and organizing. She and Vern enjoyed many years and many miles of travel in their motorhome and collecting various "treasures". Helen was well loved and will be missed but not forgotten. The family will receive family and friends at Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park, on Friday, May 21, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be offered on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior, at Beuschel Funeral Home, officiating Pastor Phil Friedrick from Sparta United Methodist Church. Private interment will be held in Hilton Cemetery.
